Give to the Max Day. Minneapolis United (MU) Soccer for the City makes a difference every day by providing a quality citywide youth soccer program to all registrants.

We offer kids the opportunity to enjoy soccer at a level consistent with their ability, and are committed to their growth as players and as young people.

Last year MU provided financial aid to 70 youths, allowing them to further their interest and develop their skills in soccer.

Please join us in celebrating Minneapolis United’s success in 2014, and help us achieve our one day goal this year to raise $10,000 on

Give to the Max Day, Thursday, November 13, 2014.

To give please go to:  https://givemn.org/organization/Minneapolis-United-Soccer-For-The-City

Your gift will assist local youths who otherwise could not afford to benefit from our program in the coming year.  All donations raised on this day will go to our Financial Aid Fund, and help MU increase our capacity to eliminate financial barriers for Minneapolis youths who want to play and improve their soccer skills.

2nd Annual Sylvester Cup

Thank you to all of the players and families who came out in support of John for the 2nd annual Sylvester Cup on  Sept. 4 at Washburn High School

This year marks the second annual Sylvester Cup between WASHBURN AND SOUTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL.  This game is a celebration of current and former athletes and coaches in soccer from our Minneapolis community.  This is also an event to raise awareness of health challenges like ALS and cancer that are faced by people in our community.

The Washburn girl's and boy's teams were victorious and will be in possession of the Sylvester Cup trophy until they battle it out again in 2015!

All players took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after their game!

Donations were collected for Team4Sly and ALS
