It goes something like, “Good forwards make the best defenders and good defenders make the best forwards.” There is a lot of truth to this saying. Any good forward is always trying to figure out how to get the upper-hand on the defense.
The following guidelines and age group competencies have been established by Minneapolis United to help our coaches and trainers focus on the teaching that we think will best provide individual development of our young soccer players.

Our coaching directors main tasks are to serve as a role model and to mentor all MU traveling coaches, identify a potential coaches for fall and spring traveling seasons, place coaches with Traveling Teams, and take the lead in team formation.
